Privacy notice
This page explains which personal data the scholaverse.com website handles, why and for how long, under Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).
It covers the website only. The ScholaVerse application, used by schools, will have its own notice.

Which data we handle
Browsing the site
To show you the pages, the server receives technical data: IP address, browser type, requested page, date and time. It is used only to deliver the pages and to protect the site from abuse. We use no analytics, advertising or profiling tools.
The site’s fonts and images are served from scholaverse.com: browsing it contacts no third-party services.
Contact form and email
If you write to us through the form or at [email protected], we handle the data you give us: name, email, school, role and the text of your message. The form stores nothing on the site: it sends the message by email to our inbox. The IP address is used only to limit repeated sends and is not kept.
Name, email, school and message are needed to reply to you. The role is optional.
Why, and on what legal basis
- Browsing: delivering the pages and keeping the site secure. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Contact requests: replying and, if you ask, telling you about ScholaVerse for your school. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) or our legitimate interest in replying to people who write to us (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
We don’t use your data for newsletters or marketing and we don’t sell it.
How long
- Emails and form messages are kept for 24 months after the last exchange, then deleted.
- Technical browsing data stays in the hosting provider’s systems for as long as the security of the service requires.
Who receives the data
The data is not published. It is handled on our behalf by the providers of the services we use:
- Hosting and network provider: hosts the site, sends the form messages and forwards the emails of [email protected].
- Email provider: the mailbox where emails and form messages arrive.
- Email sending provider: sends our replies from [email protected].
The first two are based in the United States and may handle data there. The transfer relies on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which both have joined, and on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. The sending provider handles the data in the European Union. You can ask us for the list of providers at [email protected].
Your rights
At any time you can ask to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict its use, receive it in a readable format, and object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to [email protected].
If you believe the processing breaks the GDPR, you can lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it), or with the authority of the country where you live or work.
We make no automated decisions about people.
Cookies
The site uses no cookies. It only remembers the theme and language you pick, in your browser. Details on the Cookies page.
